Limb Lengthening, Considered

Grow into your full stature.

Orthopaedic limb-lengthening surgery — delivered with the rigor of medicine and the discretion of a private practice.

The Journey

Growth, made gradual.

Inside the Science

Growth your own body makes.

Precision, then patience

A precise cut. A patient nail.
About a millimetre a day.

Live your dream. Just taller.

Scroll
01 · The osteotomy

A precise, controlled cut. Nothing is forced — the bone is simply given a place to grow.

02 · Distraction, ~1 mm a day

An internal nail lengthens the gap in tiny daily increments; the two bone ends draw slowly apart — roughly one millimetre a day, four gentle turns you barely feel.

03 · Regeneration

In the gap, your body does the work it already knows: it grows fresh bone. This is distraction osteogenesis — the biology of a healing fracture, guided with precision.

04 · Consolidation

Over the following months the new bone consolidates — strong, permanent, and entirely your own.

Lengthening rate, total gain, and candidacy vary by patient and are confirmed by your surgeon.

The Journey

A months-long commitment. We tell you that plainly.

This is not a weekend procedure. The patients who do best are the ones who chose it with clear eyes — so we begin with the truth about the road.

01

Consultation & candidacy

A frank assessment of your goals, your health, and whether surgery is right for you — including a psychological evaluation. Sometimes the answer is no. We think that honesty is the point.

02

Surgery

A single procedure under the care of a dedicated orthopedic team. An internal nail is placed; there is nothing external to carry.

03

The distraction phase

The daily millimetre. Weeks of gradual lengthening at home, guided remotely, with physiotherapy alongside.

04

Consolidation & rehabilitation

The new bone hardens while you rebuild strength and range of motion. Patience is the treatment.

05

Back to your life

You return to full weight, full movement — and a follow-up relationship that does not end when you leave.

Why Living Taller

The standard we set for ourselves.

We screen the mind, not only the bone.

Every patient meets with a psychologist before surgery is ever scheduled. Wanting this for the right reasons matters as much as being medically fit for it.

Radical transparency.

Real timelines, real risks, honest candidacy. We would rather lose a patient to the truth than win one with a promise we can't keep.

A relationship measured in years.

Follow-up imaging, physiotherapy guidance, and check-ins for years after your surgery — not months. You do not graduate from our care.

Surgery as craft.

Our surgeons publish, teach, and treat each case as its own problem to solve. You are not a standard procedure; you are a person with a specific anatomy and a specific goal.

Outcomes

Every stature has a story.

We measure success in centimetres — but our patients rarely do. They talk about photographs they no longer avoid, and rooms they walk into differently.

Honest Answers

The questions you're actually asking.

The ones many clinics gloss over. Here's the straight version — your surgeon covers all of it, in full, at your consultation.

Is it safe? What are the risks?

Limb lengthening is major orthopedic surgery, and like any surgery it carries real risks — infection, nerve or joint problems, delayed bone healing, and the possibility of further procedures. Careful patient selection, an internal nail, and close monitoring are how those risks are kept as low as possible. We walk you through every one before you decide.

What if something goes wrong?

You are not left alone with it. Complications are managed by the same surgical team that operated on you, and our follow-up relationship is measured in years, not weeks. Our revision and support policy is written down and shared with you in advance — no surprises.

What does it cost?

Cost depends on the procedure, the segment lengthened, and your travel and stay. We quote transparently and in full before anything is scheduled — surgery, distraction, rehabilitation, and follow-up — with financing where available. [Add your pricing & financing details here.]

Will anyone know?

Only if you choose to tell them. Confidential intake, private recovery, and no public identification are the default. Discretion is not an add-on here — it is how the whole practice is built.

Begin with a conversation.

A private consultation is the first step — no commitment, no pressure. Bring your questions; we'll give you the honest version.

A private, no-obligation consultation with our surgical team — cosmetic or reconstructive. We reply within two business days.
